The town of Savage MN has about 28,000 satisfied residents and growing. Our family moved to the Savage community a few years ago and we couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Savage has several parks scattered throughout the city with more than 300 acres of natural land used for sports, relaxing and other things. Our favorite park is Eagle Creek because of the play areas and lush green landscaping. The Cates Lake Tot Lot is also a favorite park of ours because we have little kids that enjoy this safe environment.
As a father and husband, I also appreciate the Savage Neighborhood Watch Program. This helps reduce crime throughout the community and it builds strong relationships among the neighbors. We’ve made many new friends while participating in the program and we have even learned some ways to keep our home more secure while making it less of a target for thieves.
The popularity of the Savage real estate market has brought many new residents to the community in the last few years. As a result, there are many Savage neighborhoods being built to accommodate the growing population. Some of those neighborhoods include South Hamilton estates, Oak Hills, Eagle Creek, Spring Lake Estates and the Trout Run Preserve, just to name a few. Some other Savage neighborhoods are Featherstone Lake, the Bluffs of Savage and Dufferin Park. Many of these neighborhoods are located near family dining opportunities like Axel’s Bonfire and the Windmill Café along with many other features.
Because of its upscale nature and surroundings, the Savage MN real estate market offers many homes that are in the $250,000 and above range. However, the majority of the homes fall somewhere between $100,000 and $250,000 with many homes available for less than $100,000 as well for buyers who are on a more modest budget.
